GO’s Special Day

Last weekend, B10 had two “special days” and he’s away right now with Cookie and Doc on a “special trip”, so it was decided that GO needed a special day.  We got up early and played a bit in the morning, before heading out to pick up a friend (FurMommy) who needed a ride.

We had lunch at Nathan’s Hot Dogs (YUMMY little dogs!) and really enjoyed the “baby bugs” that GO kept finding.  After lunch we went to “Touch a Tractor” at one of the local county parks.  GO didn’t want to see the bouncy castles or the butterfly gardens – by golly she wanted to TOUCH A TRACTOR!  And, by golly, she did.  She climbed up on three of the tractors and wouldn’t get down until she was physically removed.  (I had no idea a love of farming was so deep inside my child.)

We waited patiently in line and had popcorn and a cherry snowcone, before picking a pumpkin and visiting the petting zoo.  Before we left (and had a late nap), we paid a dollar for a bit of time in the bouncy castle.

It was a great day, and now it’s time to watch LSU beat the (crocodile leather) pants off of Florida.  😉
