Lunar Eclipse

EARLY this morning, there was a Lunar Eclipse – this was only the second total Lunar Eclipse to occur on the Winter Solstice since the birth of Christ.  The only other time was in 1638.

My camera isn’t meant for taking photos at night of the moon, but I was pretty happy with the few that are here.

Full Moon - a little after midnight

Beginning of the Lunar Eclipse

Impossible to hold the camera steady, with so little light from the moon, but it's a cool "moon-worm" picture.

Awesome pics, Sis! Glad you saw it – I’ll be over 100 years old for the next one, so I think I’ll have to wait until Heaven to see one … ❤
